So apparently my last dozen or so ramblings have fallen on deaf ears. BLIND VOTING AT MIXX IS STILL OUT OF HAND! So I have decided to play hard ball.
People say I should not pick on others, well I am not picking, this is a wake up call. Blind Voters you have 72 hours. What happens in 72 hours? Easy, each person caught blind voting will have their avatar scraped and will be labeled as a blind voter. These people will be reported to the Mixx community in the Mixxingbowl. After which they will receive 1 warning from the community.
I will also have a running list on this Blog of who those blind voters are and their history. I will let the community decide how to deal with them. I will also down vote all submissions made by these voters. I am DONE PLAYING NICE!
"Why do you care?" people ask. Easy, I want to see the quality of Mixx grow. I have invested to much time on a podcast and on campaigns for outside sources to add Mixx to their list of upcoming websites (POPURLS), for bullshit like this to somehow make the popular section! Luckily a few Social Media gurus picked up on it and called it out.
I know I might catch flack from Mixx.com about this post. I expect it. But something HAS GOT TO BE DONE.

I know you probably don't care about making enemies, but yeah, it's gonna happen man.
Also, you should let people know (via a definition) what you mean by blind voting. You have to give some people the benefit of the doubt here, maybe they don't even know what they're doing is wrong. Try giving a definition of blind voting and why it sucks for the community. (Maybe even I could write a guest post for you? Dunno!)
Anyway, I'm behind you on this, but it should be done for the sake of trying to reform people rather than just punish them.
i did in fact read your lil blog post thingy...but I wish I didn't. I have the right just as everyone else to blind vote. If I don't feel like reading a certain article I ain't gonna. And there is nothing you can do about it. So go ahead report peoples names or whatever you said. You will only hurt mixx.

First off thank you for reading, second, I dis-agree my good man. I will not be hurting Mixx. While I totally agree you have the right to vote anyway you wish, blind voting article only hurts. Do you know that myself and many other Super Mixxers found a Spam submission that front paged because of blind voting?
If I were someone cruising by Mixx and I saw the front page loaded with BS articles and spam, why would I want to join? Please my good man, think before you vote.

That's like me nailing your mom without seeing if she's ugly or not. I mean, then people will think she's hot because I had sex with her, when if fact she's ugly. And then, a bunch of my friends nail her because I did so. Soon, everyone's giving it to her because it's the thing to do. But, at the end of the day, she's an ugly broad not worth nailing.
See what I mean? Blind voting is like that.

That sounds like something a petulant child would say.
And, for the record, I made it clear that your mom's not worth nailing, so whether or not I COULD nail her (I could) isn't the point. I just envisioned a scenario where people might be led to think she IS worth nailing.
If you had disagreed with the article in a mature manner, I would have disagreed with your comment in a similar fashion. But you didn't. Saying things like "I ain't gonna and there's nothing you can do about it. So go ahead report peoples names or whatever you said" shows a lack of respect and sounds like something you'd hear in grade school.
So, to summarize, I never said I WOULD nail your mom (I wouldn't), or that I COULD nail your mom (I sooo could). I just said that IF I DID nail your mom, certain things would happen.

So at the time, I really wasn't trying to hear that.
