Top Underground "SNEEZERS"

What is a "Sneezer" you ask? A Sneezer is a new phrase recently coined, to describe someone on the internet that has the potential to make content viral. Sneezers are very important. These people can either make or break a piece of content's viral possibilities. Viral is the direction you want your content to go, meaning your content spreads like wildfire. So let's take a look at some of these underground Sneezers.
Now the reason I am using underground is some of these people are not mainstream. This is a good thing. Mainstream is not always accepted content on the internet. Sometimes one, just one, negative review by these people can destroy any hope of the content making it. Here they go in no particular order:

1. MrBabyman: MrBabyman dominates the Digg home page.Advertising Execs would say "Hey we need to get him working for us!" Sorry, Mr.Babyman is not into Digg for profit. He loves the competition and is in it for the content. MrBabyman is also a podcaster on the side with the runaway podcast called "The Drill Down", as well as "The Round Up".
MrBabyman's first love though is film, always has and always will be. MrBabyman chimes in: "I really enjoy being a 'sneezer', that is, introducing people to new and unique content. My biggest thrills come when something I've discovered and shared suddenly goes 'viral' amongst thousands of people."

2. Muhammad Saleem: "Mu" as we like to call him is also another Digg force to be reckoned with. Co-Host of The Drill Down, Mu is also not in it for a paycheck. Digg to him is also about fun and competition. He also works for Propeller and is a well respected blogger. Mu: "With being a Sneezer comes great responsibility. I've seen many people abuse their power as Sneezers and eventually burn out. Being a Sneezer means that I can give a voice to the fringe that isn't represented in mainstream media, and that I can help friends out by making sure they get the attention they deserve."

3. Zaibatsu: Zaibatsu is the third Co-host of The Drill Down and also dominates the Digg homepage. He has a ton of contacts across Social Media and is willing to help out the newbies. Also he is not into Digg for profit but for competition.

4. Tamar Weinberg: Tamar is the force behind Techipedia. I have been reading Techipedia for a very long time. Great reviews and analysis of Social Media and the internet is what make Techipedia a great blog to read. Tamar also freelances and has a few big name blogs and sites she contributes to. Tamar also has a huge following and is very Sociable. Blogger elite, many bloggers and writers seek her knowledge on content and media. Here is one example of why we like her so much. When asked for a quote, Tamar responds: "If you want to be a sneezer, get yourself or your wife or girlfriend to take off their shirt and use the Wii fit to go hula hooping".

5. David Chen: /Film writer and podcaster David Chen has been reviewing movies for a long time. David is what you would call an aficionado when it comes to film. /Film gave it's listeners and readers a huge Geek gasm last week when Writer/Director Kevin Smith joined the /Film cast for a review of The Dark Knight.

6. Dave3: Webmaster of Geeks of Doom. Geeks of Doom is a website dedicated to all things Geek. Wanna know about an upcoming Movie adaptation of a comic book, or video game? Geeks of Doom delivers a no-holds-barred review on comics, movies and the occasional video game. Dave says: "Well, I'm not sure exactly how contagious I am (I've had all my shots), but I'm out there on the 'net everyday searching for that undiscovered geeky nugget that no one else has been talking about... yet. I guess If I do my job right, I wind up inciting some cool-ass, super-charged discussion."

7. Nowsourcing: Brian Wallace comes from a tech back ground and loves Social Media. With a huge following on Sphinn, Stumbleupon, and Twitter, Brian Wallace knows Social Media and Internet trends. Not only is he the force behind Nowsourcing.com but also runs a blog called Collective thoughts, made up of insightful bloggers and Social Media players. Here is a little insight to what makes Brian Wallace a Sneezer: " It's always amusing to see the criticism of social media. Funny thing is, it usually comes from people that proudly display a few flashy badges that link to their social accounts. Upon further inspection, the critics are barely using social media!

8. Jason Falls: This name keeps coming up everywhere! Jason is a blogger and recently received a position on the Social Media Club Interim Board. Jason has been blogging for over 10 years. A blogger and vlogger you can find him at Daily Idea, a video blog where he has his own section called Fridays with Falls, and Social Media Explorer. Jason believes in the power of networking and Social Networks: "
To me, it's not about making content viral, it's about making connections. Building your network, knowing people, even just peripherally, and being trustworthy with the content you do recommend ... if you have that, you can light a fire under content intentionally or not."

9. Greg Davies: Known around the internet as cGt2099 Greg Davies is a Social Media powerhouse. Greg was a top Digger at Digg.com then was banned due to a submission to Digg that he found on Reddit. This caused a bigger uproar than he anticipated. Now Greg is known as the Social Media Jedi at Mixx.com. He is always willing to help new Mixxers and as a huge following on Stumbleupon as well. He is the lead man on the podcast Social Blend, and co-host of The Round Up with MrBabyman. Greg runs three different websites, the newest being Dayofthejedi.com. Greg is also known for telling it like it is. Some people hold back but not Greg, his rants and tirades are legendary, case in point: "
I am no underground sneezer. I can't help it if I fart and something goes viral because of that. "
