Movie producers and writers, do your homework please.

You know it really chaps my ass when people make movies about a geographical region and have no clue what they are talking about. Take Steven Seagal's Fire Down Below for example. While Steven Seagal does a hell of a job kicking ass, I couldn't help but notice quite a few discrepancies.
First off the film takes place in an Appalachian community that resides near a huge coal mine. The EPA dispatched an agent to investigate some illegal waste dumping that has been taking place at the site. Now that's a good story line, but when the agent disappears near Lake Nolin, that threw up flags for me.
1. The lake in question is no where near the Appalachian Mountains.
2. it is pronounced "Nolin Lake".
My father used to take me swimming and fishing on Nolin Lake while growing up. The place has some sentimental value for me.
Just a small observation but then I was surprised to see Steven Seagal come into the picture as a gun wielding ass kicking EPA agent. Now last time I checked most EPA agents are tree hugging hippies. I just can't buy into the fact that Seagal has all this training and works for the EPA. He calls himself a Federal Agent, but at the beginning of the movie he works for the EPA. So seriously, not like I am asking for much but, do your home work and get locations right the first time.
BTW: He does kick some serious ass though.

Whenever Brennan and I watch movies that have a "computer expert" he always has to stop the movie and tell me everything they're doing wrong. It's kind of amusing.

I like the movies that are some obviously inaccurate that they're funny. Like "The Core". That movie was hilarious.
