Not Migg and no Dixx please.

Hey guys, glad to see so many faces. But there is something I want to bring up. While I am totally glad to see so many refugees from Digg hanging out with us at Mixx, we need to realize something. Mixx is NOT Digg.
A ton of great user requests have gone to the Mixx crew. I have been talking with people over there, as well I to have seen some user requests. First of the mission of Mixx is to connect people both publishers and readers in relevant circles. Mixx is NOT a "One size fits all" site like Digg. You can choose what is relevant to you. Mixx is not just a up/down content vote site. So while I might be into tech and you be into the environment, you can pull the submissions in that YOU want to see based on their tagging system.
Digg refugees are a great bunch of people, but don't expect things at Mixx to run like they do on Digg. Also lets not keep making suggestions that Mixx needs to be more like Digg. Why? Didn't you get banned or leave Digg? Do you thrive on punishment? How about we make suggestions that no Social Media site has, and build off of those ideas? You have to power to make changes now, because the Mixx crew will listen to you.
So lets not take the Digg homepage look at that and say "Hey Mixx you should do this." Sorry, not cool. Digg as a matter of fact has been taking cues from Mixx. So, let's help Mixx keep breaking ground, not copy someone else.
The Mixx crew keeps coming up with new and inventive features, so grab the API and give them hand, make Mixx truly "Your Mixx!"
